The Ramayana is regarded as the Adi-Kavya of classical Sanskrit and a highly venerable Indian Scripture. Many notable values of Dharma, Compliance and governance originate from this great Indian epic. Ram Setu was first mentioned in Valmiki's Ramayana. Ram and His vanara sena head set out to rescue Ram’s wife, Sita, from the clutches of her kidnapper Ravan, the evil ruler of Lanka. In their quest, they reached the shores of the sea that would have to be crossed in order to get to Lanka and rescue Sita. The task was formidable, but then a stone bridge was laid across the sea with Ram’s name inscribed on each stone. Miraculously, these stones started floating which led Ram’s dharma army to cross over the other side. The daunting task of crossing one end to another was undertaken with grit, determination and faith for the victory of all-encompassing dharma.
The
modern day governance and compliance are nothing but contemporary take on our
vedas and scriptures. Drawing our inspiration from the tenets of our Hindu
scriptures, Compliance Setu bridges the gap between legal
reading and legal interpretation. Setu is a hindi word which translates to bridge. Like the Ram setu fetched Godess
Sita, Compliance Setu fetches the nitty-gritty of law’s
written letter. We aim to understand law with great depths and march the
unknown towards known.
